Arsenal are reportedly confident of tying young midfielder Emile Smith Rowe down to a new long-term contract.
The 20-year-old enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign at the Emirates Stadium last season, scoring four goals and setting up seven more.
Smith Rowe has been touted as a £30m target for Aston Villa, while Real Madrid supposedly hold an interest in the England Under-21s international.
However, football.london reports that Arsenal expect the academy product to put pen to paper on a new deal in North London.
Talks between the Gunners and Smith Rowe are said to be underway over extending his contract, which currently has two years left to run.
Arsenal are also believed to be looking to bolster their midfield ranks this summer by bringing in a new signing, with Manchester United's Donny van de Beek one possible target.
