Arsenal winger Andrey Arshavin could reportedly join Al-Sadd this summer.

Qatari outfit Al-Sadd have reportedly made an approach for Arsenal winger Andrey Arshavin.

The 31-year-old is expected to depart the Gunners this summer following an indifferent campaign, and Zenit St Petersburg have also been credited with an interest.

It is understood that Al-Sadd have moved to the head of the queue, with Arshavin's former agent, Dennis Latcher, commenting on the possible move.

"This is an interesting offer regarding the future of Arshavin's career," Latcher told reporters.

The Russian scored just two goals for the Gunners last season.
