Arsene Wenger: Ban divers for three games

Arsene Wenger says that blatant divers should be banned for three gsmes.

Arsene Wenger has called for drivers to be banned for three matches in a bid to stamp the problem out of the game.

The Arsenal manager believes that English players have copied foreign players in going to ground easily and believes that blatant offenders should be punished.

"If an obvious dive is punished by a three-match ban, the players would not do it any more," said Wenger. "I would support it."

The Gunners face Wigan in their next Premier League fixture at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
