Pep Guardiola interested in Arsenal job?

Pep Guardiola is considering replacing Arsene Wenger as manager of Arsenal, according to a report.

Pep Guardiola has reportedly added Arsenal to the list of possibilities for his next managerial role.

The former Barcelona boss has been linked with a host of top Premier League clubs amid speculation that he will leave his role at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Both Manchester clubs have been touted as possible destinations for the Spaniard, with the futures of Louis van Gaal and Manuel Pellegrini looking shaky, while Chelsea have also sounded out Guardiola after the sacking of Jose Mourinho yesterday.

According to the Daily Mail, a move to London as Arsenal boss has now emerged as a possibility as Guardiola "is a huge fan of their style of football under Arsene Wenger".

Wenger, who has been in charge of the Gunners since 1996, is contracted until the end of next season but is undecided about his future beyond that.

The newspaper claims that Guardiola is contemplating taking an interim job or a sabbatical until the Arsenal post becomes vacant.

Guardiola recently revealed that he would announce a decision about his future next week.
