Arsenal manager Unai Emery has admitted that he does not know whether chief executive Ivan Gazidis will stay at the club.
Gazidis has been linked with a September move to AC Milan following the Italian club's takeover by American investors, but Arsenal have since denied reports that the 53-year-old is on the verge of leaving the Emirates Stadium.
Emery has only been in the job a matter of months after taking over from long-serving manager Arsene Wenger, and he is unsure as to what Gazidis's future holds.
"We speak every day about the project and how to improve," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by football.london.
"When I arrived, the first meeting was with [Ivan]. He's a very good person, a professional. He has lots of experience in football. I don't know what he is going to do."
Gazidis has been at Arsenal since January 1, 2009.
