Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla has reiterated that he is keen to return to Arsenal, most likely after the end of his playing career.
The Spaniard was a hugely popular figure at the Emirates Stadium, making 180 appearances between 2012 and 2018 before injury curtailed his time at the club.
However, while he has rebuilt his career at former club Villarreal, the veteran has acknowledged that he holds a desire to eventually return to North London.
Speaking to Vamos, the 35-year-old said: "I don't know what my legacy is at Arsenal. You would have to ask the fans, but I want to thank everyone.
"I don't know what I will do next, maybe a coach, maybe a sports director, but I would like to come back."
Cazorla played alongside Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during his time in the Premier League.
