Arsenal reportedly make the decision to part ways with six of the backroom staff who have been working under outgoing manager Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal have reportedly moved to make significant changes to the backroom staff at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger revealed last month that he was to step down as manager at the end of the season, and with the Frenchman having officially left his role on Sunday, more changes are being made at the North London outfit.

According to the Daily Mail, head of medical Colin Lewin is among the staff who have been told that they will not be kept on at the club ahead of the arrival of a new boss.

Lewin has been with Arsenal for 23 years and is said to be unhappy with the decision, while goalkeeping specialist Gerry Peyton, fitness coach Tony Colbert and equipment specialist Paul Johnson have also been told that they are free to find new positions over the summer.

Neil Banfield - a first-team coach for two decades - and Boro Primorac are also on their way out at Arsenal, who continue to be linked with both Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta.
