How Arsenal could line up against Bournemouth

Ahead of the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Bournemouth on Wednesday night, Sports Mole looks at how Unai Emery's side could line up in North London.

Arsenal head into Wednesday's Premier League encounter with Bournemouth looking to remain ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for fourth position in the standings.

The Gunners took full advantage of United's draw with Liverpool and Chelsea featuring in the EFL Cup final by registering a 2-0 win over Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

Unai Emery's side now hold a one-point advantage over United, while they are seven points behind third-placed Tottenham Hotspur with the North London derby to come on Saturday.

Emery has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of this game, and here Sports Mole looks at how Arsenal could line up against the Cherries.

Out: Hector Bellerin (knee), Rob Holding (knee), Danny Welbeck (ankle)
Doubtful: Stephan Lichtsteiner (back), Alex Iwobi (knock)

Mesut Ozil was given time off the bench against the Saints, but the German could be preferred to Aaron Ramsey for the game at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexandre Lacazette got the nod over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the weekend, but the Gabon international is expected to earn a recall for Wednesday's fixture.

Denis Suarez could be handed his first Arsenal start, and Alex Iwobi should also feature providing that he has overcome a knock sustained against Southampton.

Matteo Guendouzi may return with Granit Xhaka potentially being rested, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles should replace Stephan Lichtsteiner at right-back.

Laurent Koscielny is in contention to start ahead of Sokratis Papastathopoulos in the centre of defence, with Nacho Monreal also potentially replacing Sead Kolasinac.
