Arsenal draw Barcelona in last 16 of Champions League

Arsenal draw Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League, while Chelsea will take on Paris Saint-Germain for the third season running.

Arsenal will have to overcome Barcelona across two legs in order to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger's side have been drawn against the reigning champions, while their Premier League rivals Chelsea will face Paris Saint-Germain for the third season running.

The Gunners, who have not reached the quarter-finals since 2010, have faced the Catalan giants seven times, including the 2006 final which ended in a 2-1 defeat for Arsenal, and have won just once.

The last time that these two sides went head to head was in the 2010-11 campaign, when Arsenal sealed a 2-1 win in the home leg but were undone 3-1 by Barca at Camp Nou.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's Chelsea side will face PSG yet again, but the Portuguese coach will be hoping for a better result as his side were knocked out by the French outfit last season.

The only other English contingent in the draw was Manchester City, who will take on Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev in the last 16 after Manuel Pellegrini's side topped Group D last week.

Ten-time winners Real Madrid will go head to head with Roma across two legs, while Juventus will host Bayern Munich before travelling to the Allianz Arena in their last-16 matchup.

The first legs will be played on February 16/17 and 23/24, with the return legs taking place on March 8/9 and 15/16.
