Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi has revealed that he would be delighted to see the club sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
PSG have benefited from the form of Verratti since his switch from Pescara in 2012, but the 23-year-old has frequently been linked with a move the Premier League or La Liga.
Xavi was key to Barcelona's success during his long spell at the Camp Nou, and the Spaniard believes that Verratti would thrive in Luis Enrique's side.
"I love Verratti. I like his vision of the game. He never loses the ball," he told Canal Football Club. "He would fit well in the Barca game. I'd like to see him at Barcelona."
Verratti's current deal expires in the summer of 2019.
