Preview: Catania vs. AC Milan

AC Milan travel to bottom side Catania to try to break their run of bad form in Serie A.

Serie A's bottom side Catania host AC Milan on Sunday, who themselves have slipped to 13th in the table after a dreadful start to the season.

Catania have kept themselves from being cut adrift with the odd win, but with four defeats from six they are firmly rooted in the relegation zone.

Milan are without a league win in their last five, but their 3-0 win away to Celtic in the Champions League on Tuesday will have provided some welcome encouragement.

For the hosts, centre-back Pablo Alvarez is winning his battle to be fit but Sergio Almiron remains a long-term absentee.

For Milan, Robinho will not be fit in time, Cristian Zapata misses out through suspension and there is a doubt over Ignazio Abate.
