Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark ends her wait for a singles title in 2012 with a 6-1 6-0 victory over Kaia Kanepi in the Korea Open.

Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki has won her first title of 2012 with a comprehensive victory in the final of the Korea Open.

The 22-year-old dismantled Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-1 6-0 in just over an hour.

Wozniacki raced into a 4-0 lead before Kanepi, who knocked the Dane out of the French Open earlier this year, got on the board.

That would prove to be Kanepi's only game, however, as Wozniacki raced through the second set.

Speaking afterwards, Wozniacki said that she was already looking ahead to a "positive" 2013.
