Sale Sharks look to take a huge step towards survival when they host Gloucester Rugby on Friday night.

Sale Sharks will be looking to move closer to safety in the Premiership when they host Gloucester Rugby on Friday night.

The Sharks would move 12 points ahead of bottom side London Welsh with a win, which would leave the Welsh requiring three big wins from their remaining fixtures.

Gloucester, on the other hand, would move up to third with the four points.

Steve Diamond has made just one change to his XV from the side that claimed a thrilling 33-33 draw against London Irish, with Will Addison coming in for Charlie Amesbury.

For Gloucester it is five changes, with Huia Edmonds, Dan Robson, Shane Monahan, Billy Twelvetrees and Rob Cook all being named in the XV. England's Ben Morgan makes the replacements.
