Luke Arscott grabbed Exeter Chiefs first try of the game on 26 minutes, but Heathcote ensured his side went in at half time with the lead thanks to another expertly taken penalty.

Eight minutes into the second half, Heathcote put more points on the board with another penalty.

Two minutes later, Arscott got his second try of the game before Slade's conversion to put Exeter in charge of the game.
