Former Wolves winger Matt Jarvis lavishes praise on Adama Traore and questions why he would want to leave Molineux when he is thriving under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis has lavished praise on Adama Traore, claiming that the Spaniard has "got everything".

Traore is enjoying the most productive season of his career so far, scoring six goals and creating 10 more in 43 appearances across all competitions.

The 24-year-old's form has seen him linked with a move to some of Europe's biggest clubs - including a potential return to Barcelona - but Jarvis questioned why he would want to leave when he is currently thriving under Nuno Espirito Santo.

"He has got everything, hasn't he? He is so strong, so quick and his change in direction is incredible. He is like an NFL player - he really is that powerhouse and he has had the ability, but it has just been the consistency. This season he has been fantastic. What a transformation," Jarvis told talkSPORT.

"Nuno has to take a lot of plaudits as well. He has obviously worked with him, tried to get him to cool down in the bits where he is just about to make a cross or take a shot. He's got ice running through his veins... I think that was the phrase Mick McCarthy used to use with me. But he really does have everything and that is why he is such a threat to any team.

"Whenever he has got the ball he has always got people around him. He is also able to hold people off, run the length of the field and put in a fantastic cross. They [Wolves] obviously knew the potential in him. They just knew that it was the consistency [that could be a problem]. But at the minute he is playing week-in, week-out for a top team that is doing really well in Europe and really well in the league.

"He just seems to be fantastic and is improving all the time. The players that he has got around him have got a really good relationship with him. At the minute does he want to leave? Does he want to go to another team?"

Traore joined Wolves in 2018 and has already made more appearances for them than any other club in his career.
