David Edwards has claimed that the current Wales squad is more confident under the guidance of Gary Speed than they were when John Toshack was in charge of the national team.
Speed succeeded Toshack in December 2010 and Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Edwards believes that the change in management has been beneficial.
"It's very different in camp, the manager's ideas are different to the previous manager and the boys have an air of confidence and are enjoying themselves," the 25-year-old told reporters.
Wales are currently preparing for Euro 2012 qualifiers against Switzerland and Poland.
