Sunderland have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Bursaspor midfielder Alfred N'Diaye.
The Black Cats have experienced an inconsistent first half of their Premier League campaign as they currently sit just four points above the relegation zone in the table.
It is understood that Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is closing in on his first signing in the January window after the club agreed a fee with Bursaspor for N'Diaye, according to Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the North East side are favourites to clinch Swansea City frontman Danny Graham.
