Craig Gordon: 'Scotland looked tired against England'

Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon admits that the team looked "off the pace" in their 3-1 loss to England.

Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon has admitted that the team looked "tired" during Tuesday's defeat to England.

The Tartan Army saw their recent three-game unbeaten run ended at Celtic Park, losing 3-1 to their neighbours in a friendly.

Gordon, who was making his first international appearance in four years, believes that the Scots did not do enough to trouble England on the night.

"We looked a bit tired and off the pace," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We know we did not perform as well as we can do, far from it, so we are all disappointed with that. We will make sure that doesn't happen again."

Scotland return to action in March 2015 when they host Gibraltar in Euro 2016 qualifying.
