The game was very even in terms of possession and chances, however the visitors were far superior with their finishing.
Renaud Cohade put them ahead with a clever finish from an acute angle on 11 minutes.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then smashed home Jonathan Brison's low cross to double his side's advantage 15 minutes later.
Julian Palmieri, Florian Thauvin and Jeremy Choplin all spurned good chances to get Bastia back into the game, before Josua Guilavogui finished off a rapid counter-attack to put the result beyond doubt in the final minute of normal time.
