Abdoulaye Doucoure staying at Rennes

Watford target Abdoulaye Doucoure confirms that he will stay with Rennes.

Abdoulaye Doucoure has confirmed that he will be staying with Ligue 1 outfit Rennes, despite several reports of a move away.

The midfielder was heavily linked with a switch to Premier League new boys Watford, while West Bromwich Albion were also credited with an interest.

However, a potential move to the Hornets fell through after Doucoure failed to agree personal terms.

Rennes are currently third in Ligue 1, three points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
