Zinedine Zidane gives green light to Hakim Ziyech, Donny van de Beek moves?

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane gives the green light for his club to sign Ajax pair Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek, according to a report.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly given the green light for his club to move for Ajax pair Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek.

Los Blancos were strongly linked with a move for Van de Beek during the summer transfer window, but the Netherlands international ultimately remained in Amsterdam.

The 22-year-old has once again been in impressive form this season, scoring three times and contributing six assists in 11 appearances for his Dutch club in all competitions.

Ziyech, meanwhile, was also strongly linked with a summer exit, but the 26-year-old did not leave last season's Champions League semi-finalists despite reported interest from the Premier League.

According to reports in Spain, Madrid scouted the pair during Ajax's 3-0 win over Valencia in the Champions League on Wednesday night, and Zidane has now given the go ahead to move for the duo.

Both players were on the scoresheet against Los Che in the European clash, with Ziyech opening the scoring in the eighth minute before Van de Beek netted in the second period.
