Real Madrid injury, suspension list vs. Eibar

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's La Liga fixture against Eibar.

Real Madrid will continue their 2019-20 La Liga season at home to Eibar on Sunday night.

Zinedine Zidane's side suffered a 2-1 defeat in their last league match against Real Betis on March 8 but are very much in the title argument at this stage of the campaign.

Indeed, just two points separates leaders Barcelona from second-placed Madrid, who will play their final six home league matches of the season at their training ground.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's clash.

Luka Jovic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Fractured foot
Possible return date: Unknown

Jovic is currently unavailable for selection due to the fracture on his right foot that he picked up during the lockdown period. The initial medical report claimed that the Serbian would be out for at least six weeks, but it is currently unclear when he will be fit to return.

Nacho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Madrid revealed earlier this month that versatile defender Nacho had picked up a thigh injury during a training session. The Spanish giants did not mention a timeframe when the problem was revealed, although it is thought that he will be available for selection before the end of the month.

Mariano Diaz

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Toe
Possible return date: June 14 (vs. Eibar)

Mariano will allegedly be unavailable for Zidane's side this weekend due to a toe injury. According to reports in Spain, the striker has been alternating between individual and group training over the last couple of weeks, and the problem is likely to keep him out of the clash with Eibar.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Madrid have no suspension concerns heading into Sunday night's contest.
