Jose Mourinho believes that it is too early to say if he will deploy Iker Casillas in the Real Madrid goal against Valencia on Tuesday.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has refused to divulge if he will include goalkeeper Iker Casillas in his starting lineup against Valencia on Tuesday.

The Spain international, who has reportedly fallen out with the Portuguese, started in Los Blancos' goalless away draw with Osasuna in La Liga on Saturday.

However, Antonio Adan will return from suspension for Madrid's clash with Los Che in the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final tie at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"He (Casillas) did the job of a goalkeeper in a big team," Mourinho told reporters. "He hardly touched the ball here, but he was part of the team's defensive play.

"It is too early to say whether he will play against Valencia."

Madrid are currently 18 points behind leaders Barcelona in third place in La Liga.
