Jupp Heynckes refuses to comment on Bayern Munich's potential semi-final meeting against Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has refused to comment on a potential Champions League semi-final match against Real Madrid.

The German, whose side handed Marseille a 2-0 defeat at the Velodrome last night, insists that his focus for now remains on the French outfit ahead of the return leg in Munich next week.

"I told my players before the match that Marseille are a robust team," he said. "It is not easy in Marseille – plenty of other teams can tell you that.

"It was important that we didn't concede, that Marseille did not get a boost. With a few exceptions we did that well.

"We cannot talk about Real Madrid, there is still the second leg in Munich to come. I know there would be no favourites in such a tie."

The Bayern boss managed the current La Liga leaders during 1997-98 season.
