Last-gasp Memphis Depay strike downs Feyenoord

Luuk de Jong scores a hat-trick as PSV Eindhoven twice come from behind to claim a 4-3 win over Feyenoord.

Memphis Depay scored a stoppage-time winner as PSV Eindhoven opened up a four-point lead at the top of the Eredivisie by beating Feyenoord 4-3 this evening.

Elvis Manu gave the visitors the lead in the 13th minute when he was played through on goal by Jordy Clasie, before rounding the keeper and slotting in a low effort that squirmed just over the line.

The hosts were not behind for long, as eight minutes later De Jong fired in from Georginio Wijnaldum's pull-back.

In the 43rd minute Feyenoord went ahead for the second time after Karim El Ahmadi poked an effort past Jeroen Zoet.

PSV hit back and levelled again on the hour mark when De Jong headed in Depay's cross.

Four minutes later the hosts were in front, as De Jong rose highest in the box to power a header into the corner.

With just a minute of the game left to play, the visitors thought they had stolen a point when Colin Kazim-Richards nodded in from close range.

However, their joy was short lived, as in the third minute of stoppage time Florian Jozefzoon made the most of some poor defending to tee up Depay, who then slotted in the winner for PSV.
