Thiago Silva has shared his delight after returning to Paris Saint-Germain's starting lineup at the weekend.
The Brazilian captain had been sidelined since September due to injury, but made his first start following his recovery during the Ligue 1 champions' 3-1 win over Nice on Saturday.
Silva is now turning his attention to the national team ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
"We played very well, we were very solid," Silva told the club's official website.
"It wasn't easy against Nice and the most important thing was to claim all three points. I am very happy to be back on the pitch. Now I'm off to join the Selecao.
"It's very tough with the national team because everyone wants to play, but only 23 players will be going to the World Cup. We have two friendly matches coming up and we will be looking to play well."
Silva came off the bench in his first game back last week in the 1-1 draw with Anderlecht in the Champions League.
