How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Guingamp

Ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Guingamp, Sports Mole looks at how the champions could line up.

Paris Saint-Germain take on Guingamp at the Parc des Princes this weekend, less than two weeks on from being knocked out of the Coupe de la Ligue by the same side.

Guingamp sent shockwaves through French football with their cup triumph, turning the Ligue 1 table on its head as the side sitting bottom beat the side at the top.

Three league points are on the line on Saturday afternoon, and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is expected to use near enough a full-strength side, despite having a Coupe de France clash with Strasbourg in midweek.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the champions may line up for this weekend's clash.

Possible PAR XI vs. GUIN

Out: Colin Dagba, Presnel Kimpembe, Gianluigi Buffon, Adrien Rabiot, Lassana Diarra

Neymar is expected to make his first league start of 2019 after integrating back into full training earlier this week, likely meaning the return of the Brazilian, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe in the forward line.

Cavani should be the first name on the teamsheet, having had a direct hand in eight of the last 12 goals scored by PSG players against Guingamp in Ligue 1 - six of his own and two assists.

The injury absence of veteran Italian goalkeeper Buffon will see Alphonse Areola retain his place in goal, meanwhile, and Layvin Kurzawa is also in contention to start in the backline after coming off the bench against Amiens last weekend.

Angel Di Maria, Marco Verratti and Julian Draxler started in a midfield three last time out and that is expected to remain the same this weekend.
