Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has admitted that his side put in a "poor performance" during Tuesday's defeat to Sheffield United in League One.
The Posh were beaten for the second consecutive time in the league as they went down 2-0 at Bramall Lane.
"That was a poor performance," Ferguson is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We played with no tempo in the first half. We pride ourselves on our quick passing, but we were too slow moving the ball forward and it made it very easy for them to defend against us.
"I freshened things up as well with the intention of putting some zip in our play. I picked the right team for the game, but they just didn't deliver the performance."
Tuesday's defeat has seen Peterborough remain in sixth place in the League One table.
