Newcastle United have made two changes to their starting lineup for today's Premier League encounter with Reading at St James' Park.

Yohan Cabaye and Shola Ameobi are both included, while James Perch and Gabriel Obertan make way.

Meanwhile, Steven Taylor is named among the substitutes following an 11-game absence with a hamstring injury.

Reading have made a total of three changes, with former Fulham defender Stephen Kelly making his debut for the Royals.
