Napoli midfielder Valon Behrami has called on fans to 'push the side on' during Friday's vital Serie A clash with Juventus.

The home team are in need of a positive result at the Stadio San Paolo as Juve come into the game with a six-point lead at the top of the table.

"Our fans can give us that extra boost, the adrenaline to push us more," Behrami told reporters. "They can be our extra weapon to go beyond our limits.

"I ask them to support us, to appreciate what we have been doing in this championship and to consider what we are trying to achieve, that is something very important."

Juventus sealed a 2-0 triumph when the two clubs met back in October.
