Report: Manchester United target German duo

Manchester United boss David Moyes reportedly wants to sign German pair Marco Reus and Toni Kroos from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively in the summer.

Manchester United manager David Moyes reportedly wants to add two German stars to his squad at the end of the season.

For the first time in many months, there is a positive atmosphere around Old Trafford, all thanks to United's £37.1m capture of Spanish playmaker Juan Mata from Chelsea.

According to The Metro, Moyes hopes to do more big spending in the summer by signing midfield duo Marco Reus and Toni Kroos from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively.

Reus, 24, is said to be valued at around £40m, although a £30m release clause in his contract will become active in June 2015.

Kroos, also 24, only has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Bayern and is therefore likely to be available for a significantly cheaper fee.
