Real Madrid are reportedly of the opinion that Manchester City will be their main rivals for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The 20-year-old has again been in excellent form for BVB during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 27 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions, including eight strikes in five Champions League outings.
Madrid continue to be strongly linked with the Norway international, while Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be determined to sign the centre-forward.
According to AS, Madrid view Man City as their main rivals for Haaland, who could be allowed to leave Signal Iduna Park this summer due to Dortmund's financial problems.
However, the report claims that Los Blancos will only move for the Norwegian if they are unable to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming market.
Mbappe, who has also been linked with Liverpool, has still not signed a new contract with PSG and could therefore be allowed to leave this summer.
