Ruben Neves talks up the prospect of staying at Wolverhampton Wanderers under the tutelage of Bruno Lage amid links with Manchester United and Arsenal.

Ruben Neves has hinted that he is prepared to stay at Wolverhampton Wanderers amid reported interest from Manchester United.

With Paul Pogba's exit seeming increasingly likely as he runs down the final year of his contract, the Red Devils have reportedly identified Neves as a possible replacement for the Frenchman.

Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old, but he now appears to have dashed both sides' chances of signing him by talking up the prospect of working under Bruno Lage in the upcoming Premier League season.

Speaking to Wolves TV, the Portugal international said: "He [Lage] is a very good coach. I am really happy to work with him.

"I spoke with a few friends when he signed for Wolves - that were players in Benfica and are good friends of mine - and they said a lot of good things about him.

"I can see it now. He's a very good coach with lots of good ideas. I think that when things are completely together, we'll be a really hard team to beat."

Neves boasts 20 goals and 10 assists from 176 games in Wolves colours, and his contract at Molineux is not due to expire until the summer of 2024.
