Atalanta BC want to re-sign Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

Atalanta BC are reportedly keen to re-sign Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United this summer.

The 19-year-old made eight appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the second half of last season, scoring once and providing one assist following his arrival from Atalanta.

Amad has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, though, and a number of clubs are thought to be keen to take him on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

According to Tutto Atalanta, Atalanta want the Ivory Coast international to return to the club before the window closes for business.

Red Devils boss Solskjaer said on Friday that the teenager - allegedly a leading target for Sheffield United - would only leave the club if the right opportunity arrived.

"With Amad, I have to say he's doing really, really well in training. He's come back a little later after the Olympics and now he's looking really good," Solskjaer told reporters. "I wouldn't be surprised if he stays as well. It has to be the right loan, the club, way of playing etc."

Amad previously represented Atalanta between 2015 and 2019 but only made five first-team appearances for the Italian giants before arriving at Man United.
