Estoril vs. Moreirense (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Aiming to arrest their underwhelming Primeira Liga results before Christmas, Estoril Praia and Moreirense clash at Estadio Antonio Coimbra da Mota on Saturday, keen to notch important victories in the gameweek 16 encounter.
Both clubs have lost two matches on the trot heading into their final fixtures this year, with the hosts recently going down to Lisbon rivals Benfica (3-0) and Porto inflicting a three-goal defeat on the Minho outfit.
We say: Estoril Praia 2-1 Moreirense
Moreirense are one of three Primeira Liga teams (along with Santa Clara and Rio Ave) yet to pick up a road draw, and that pattern of a winner emerging in away fixtures should continue.
However, the outcome could favour Estoril, who have won two of their previous four matches on home soil (one loss) and aim to snap a losing run against their Minho visitors to inflict a fourth consecutive road defeat on Peixoto's men.

Porto vs. Boavista (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Primeira Liga title contenders Porto could climb to first place on Saturday when they host relegation-threatened Boavista at Estadio do Dragao in gameweek 16.
With Sporting Lisbon and table-topping Benfica set to battle at the Jose Alvalade on Sunday, the Dragons aim to be the biggest winners in the three-way title race to close out 2024 positively.
We say: Porto 2-0 Boavista
Although both clubs are at opposite ends of the form table, Saturday's encounter between these clubs from the Porto district should be closer than the previous five games suggest.
Despite Boavista's inclination for tight games on their travels, the Dragons are backed to record a ninth straight victory at the Dragao to displace Benfica and Sporting temporarily.
