Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, as Leicester City lead the race for Charles de Ketelaere and Andrea Belotti leaves Torino as a free agent.

Leicester City are reportedly confident of sealing the signing of Club Brugge attacker Charles De Ketelaere.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after ending the 2021-22 season with 18 goals and 10 assists to boast from 49 games in all tournaments.

Leeds United were thought to be plotting a move for the Belgium international, but he supposedly has reservations over a switch to Elland Road.

As a result, 90Min understands that Leicester are optimistic about their chances of completing a deal for De Ketelaere, who will likely command a €40m (£34.5m) fee to leave Brugge.

The Foxes could still be forced to fend off interest from Italian champions AC Milan to sign De Ketelaere, whose Club Brugge contract expires in the summer of 2024.

De Ketelaere would represent a youthful attacker moving to the Premier League, but another in Francisco Trincao is now set to see his time in England come to an end.

The 22-year-old joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Barcelona for the 2021-22 campaign but only managed three goals and one assist in 30 appearances for Bruno Lage's outfit.

Trincao only started 16 Premier League games for Wolves last term, and the Molineux side have now welcomed Adama Traore back from his own loan spell at Barcelona.

According to the Express and Star, Wolves are therefore set to decline the option to make Trincao's stay a permanent one, which would require them to fork out £25m.

The Portugal international therefore prepares to return to Barcelona and could try to force himself into Xavi's plans after Ousmane Dembele officially became a free agent.

Trincao's compatriot Joao Palhinha was linked with his own switch to Wolves, but Fulham finally appear set to wrap up a deal for the Sporting Lisbon lynchpin.

However, Fulham quickly emerged as the leading contenders for Palhinha's signature, but a move to Craven Cottage was held up amid an agent quibble over commission.

Now, The Sun claims that Jorge Mendes and Hernan Reguera have agreed to share the £2m commission, and Palhinha's move to Fulham should now go through without any further trouble.

The 26-year-old is expected to complete his medical over the weekend and will join Fulham on a five-year contract for a £17m fee.

Palhinha prepares to leave Sporting after scoring seven goals in 94 games for Ruben Amorim's side, winning the Primeira Liga title in the 2020-21 season.

Over in Italy, the free agent market has now welcomed what could be a highly sought-after striker, as Andrea Belotti has officially left Torino following the expiration of his contract.

The 28-year-old spent five years on the books at Torino and scored 113 goals in 251 appearances for the club in all competitions, but he will now be moving on to pastures new.

"Dear Andrea, we take note of your decision to embark on a new experience, from today our paths separate," Torino said in a tribute to Belotti on social media.

"We have lived together seven seasons, which in modern football represent a very strong bond, always sharing joys and sufferings, emotions and disappointments with the same passion.

"We thank you for all you have given us, proud with the contribution of all of what you have become for Taurus and we greet you with a big good luck for the continuation of your career."

Arsenal and Manchester United are among the sides to be credited with an interest in the Italy international following his departure from Torino.
