Saturday's Premier League predictions including Tottenham vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League action, including Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester City.

Newcastle vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Chelsea have the chance to temporarily move top of the Premier League table when they take on Newcastle United at St James' Park on Saturday lunchtime.

Frank Lampard's side would jump from fifth to first with victory in the opening match of gameweek nine, but they have struggled at this venue in recent seasons.

We say: Newcastle United 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea may have struggled at St James' Park in recent years, but everything seems to be pointing in their direction for this match, including the form book, the league table and Newcastle's lengthy injury list.

The Magpies at full strength may have fancied themselves to pick up at least a point in this match, but with the hosts missing some key players we are backing the Blues to come out on top.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two sides that have experienced contrasting starts to the 2020-21 Premier League campaign meet on Saturday afternoon as Aston Villa play host to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Villa beat Arsenal 3-0 last time out to move within three points of top spot with a game in hand to play, while Brighton have one win from eight and are in relegation danger.

We say: Aston Villa 1-0 Brighton & Hove Albion

The international break may have come at a good time for Brighton, giving Potter's men a chance to regroup after five games without a win.

Even accounting for back-to-back defeats to Southampton and Leeds, Villa have been superb this campaign and will be looking to pick up from where they left off this weekend.

On the basis of the form book, and Brighton's losing streak at Villa Park, we can only see this game ending one way.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Spurs vs. Man City (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Old rivals Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola renew hostilities on Saturday when Tottenham Hotspur welcome Manchester City to North London in the Premier League.

For the first time since January 2017, Spurs go into a showdown with Man City sitting above their opponents in the table, and victory would lift them to the very top until at least Sunday night.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Manchester City

We could learn a lot about Tottenham's title credentials from this match. Victory would be a real statement of intent, and Man City's patchy form this season will make them confident of pulling off a win that would send them to the summit.

However, Man City's failure to score more than once in a Premier League game can surely not go on for much longer, and we expect them to come away from this match with a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man Utd vs. West Brom (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United's search for a first home Premier League win of the season continues on Saturday evening when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford.

Just one of Man United's 10 points so far this term has come on home territory, but they face a West Brom side struggling in the relegation zone without a win home or away so far in 2020-21.

We say: Manchester United 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

This match appears to be as good a chance as any for Man United to end their dreadful home form, although West Brom's own recent record at Old Trafford gives them plenty of cause for optimism.

It is a battle between the second-worst home record and second-worst away record, the joint-worst home defence and the joint-worst away defence, and of those we expect hosts Manchester United to come out on top against a struggling and misfiring West Brom side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Fulham vs. Everton (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Everton face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon looking to end their run of three successive defeats in the Premier League.

Despite having only recorded one win in eight matches this season, Fulham currently remain outside of the relegation zone by a point.

We say: Fulham 1-2 Everton

Given their recent trajectories and players returning from international duty, we feel that this match could be much closer than many people anticipate. However, Richarlison may make the difference on his first start in more than a month, one which could lead to the visitors edging a hard-fought battle in West London.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sheff Utd vs. West Ham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder pictured on October 31, 2020© Reuters

Sheffield United welcome West Ham United to Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon still looking for their first Premier League win of the season.

The Hammers make the long trip to Yorkshire on the back of a last-gasp victory over Fulham before the international break, a result which moved the Hammers up to 12th position in the standings.

We say: Sheffield United 1-1 West Ham United

Sheffield United have had fewer players doing the rounds on international duty, something which could give them an extra edge in this game. Nevertheless, West Ham have been resolute throughout this campaign, and we feel that Moyes's side will battle their way to a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Leeds vs. Arsenal (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta pictured on November 8, 2020© Reuters

Two teams in growing need of a Premier League victory face off on Sunday afternoon when Leeds United welcome Arsenal to Elland Road.

Both sides have lost three of their last four top-flight outings to undo promising starts to their respective campaigns, leaving them both languishing in the bottom half after eight games of the campaign.

We say: Leeds United 1-1 Arsenal

It is tough to know what to expect from either of these teams at the moment. Arsenal have won four and lost four of their Premier League games this season, while Leeds have only won one of their last five, so neither are coming into this one in particularly good form.

It is a match that could quite easily go either way, but with Arsenal missing a few players and Leeds having fared well against teams of similar style to Arsenal this season, we are backing the spoils to be shared.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Leicester (Sunday, 7.15pm)

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp pictured on November 8, 2020© Reuters

Sunday plays host to a mouth-watering showdown between Premier League champions and Premier League leaders as third-placed Liverpool welcome top-of-the-table Leicester City to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp's side have top spot and history in their sights but must first overcome a crippling injury crisis against a Leicester side that has set the early pace this season under former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

We say: Liverpool 2-2 Leicester City

This is a fascinating contest between a team that has been imperious at home for years now but has been severely weakened by injuries and the standout team in the Premier League so far this season.

Leicester have all of the tools to once again be the team that ends Liverpool's unbeaten home run at 63 games and, with a makeshift defence coming up against the league's joint-top scorer, it would not be a huge surprise to see that happen.

However, when a team has not lost on their own turf for three-and-a-half years it is almost impossible to predict that result happening, so we are expecting an entertaining score draw between these two high-flying sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
