Thursday's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup: Jadon Sancho, Dayot Upamecano, Diogo Dalot

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Thursday, February 11.

The January transfer window has now closed, leaving Manchester United to begin looking forward to the summer for their next round of recruitment.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Thursday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Borussia Dortmund 'planning to sell Jadon Sancho this summer'

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to part ways with Manchester United target Jadon Sancho in the summer.

The 20-year-old's proposed move to Old Trafford dominated the talk of the most recent summer window, but he remained at Dortmund after Man United failed to fork out their asking price of £109m.

However, Man United are expected to reignite their pursuit of Sancho when the 2020-21 season is over, and the forward could supposedly now be available for a lower figure of £87.6m due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to WAZ, Sancho is almost certain to be sold by Dortmund if they fail to secure Champions League qualification, and the Bundesliga outfit are prepared to lower their demands due to their volatile financial situation.

The report adds that Sancho is one of several players who could be on their way out if Dortmund - who currently sit sixth - do not finish in the top four, and Manchester City-linked Erling Braut Haaland is another name on the potential list of outgoings.

Axel Witsel, Manuel Akanji, Raphael Guerreiro, Giovanni Reyna and former Birmingham City starlet Jude Bellingham may also be moved on alongside Sancho, who boasts three goals and nine assists from 18 Bundesliga games this season.

Manchester United 'have not contacted Sergio Ramos'

Manchester United have reportedly not been in contact with Sergio Ramos despite suggestions that the English giants are keen to bring the Real Madrid defender to Old Trafford.

Ramos's contract at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Spain international will be leaving Los Blancos ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

United have been strongly linked with the 34-year-old, who is expected to be on the sidelines until April with a knee injury which required surgery.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions have not yet been in contact with Ramos as they are still assessing potential centre-back targets.

The former Sevilla youngster has allegedly already turned down two new contract offers from Zinedine Zidane's side and has recently moved closer to the exit door.

Ramos - also believed to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain - has scored 100 goals in 668 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, winning five La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns.
