Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi 'would cost Wolves £25m'

Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly have to pay £25m if they want to sign Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi.

Manchester City have reportedly told Wolverhampton Wanderers that they value Nicolas Otamendi at £25m.

Wolves have secured seventh position in the Premier League standings this season, and Nuno Espirito Santo's side are currently waiting to see if they will earn a place in the Europa League.

The West Midlands outfit are already being linked with a number of high-profile additions ahead of the summer window, with Otamendi being one of the players who could make the switch to Molineux in the coming months.

However, according to AS, City will only entertain offers for the Argentina international in the region of £25m.

Otamendi - who still has three years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium - is also attracting interest from several La Liga clubs.
