Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

Erling Braut Haaland is set to lead the Manchester City line in Sunday's Premier League clash with West Ham United at London Stadium.

The Norway international missed a clear chance in last weekend's Community Shield with Liverpool, which finished 3-1 to the Reds, but he is now preparing to make his league debut for the club.

Aymeric Laporte is out until at least September following knee surgery, while John Stones is lacking match fitness, so Nathan Ake could continue alongside Ruben Dias in the middle of the defence.

The full-back positions pick themselves, with Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo set to feature, while Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri are certainties in midfield.

There is also expected to be a start for Bernardo Silva despite the ongoing speculation surrounding his future, but head coach Pep Guardiola has some big decisions to make further forward.

Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish played alongside Haaland from the start against Liverpool, but Phil Foden is expected to come into the side for this match, which could see Grealish drop to the bench.

Fellow new signings Kalvin Phillips and Julian Alvarez are also set to be on the bench for the English champions alongside the likes of Stones and Ilkay Gundogan.

Manchester City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo; Mahrez, Haaland, Foden
