Samir Nasri: 'Manchester City cannot fail to win the title'

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri says that his side cannot fail in their pursuit to win the Premier League title.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has said that his side cannot fail in their pursuit to win the Premier League title.

The Citizens moved to within three points of Liverpool in the table last weekend, after the Reds suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Chelsea.

Due to their superior goal difference, City are the firm favourites to claim the title if they win all their remaining games and Nasri has admitted that there is no room for any more mistakes.

"Now we cannot hide anymore," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "We are three games away. We have to play like champions and show we deserve it.

"We have to understand that now we are in this position, it's a miracle. We thought that Chelsea would beat Sunderland – they didn't. We thought Chelsea would go to Liverpool with a second team and lose - but they won.

"Now that we are here, it doesn't matter where we are playing, we have to get a result and win it because it's a miracle we are still here. We have a league to win. We cannot fail."

Manchester City are next in action when they face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday evening.
