Team News: Glen Johnson, Aly Cissokho return for Liverpool

Glen Johnson and Aly Cissokho shake off recent injury problems to feature for Liverpool at Newcastle United.

Glen Johnson and Aly Cissokho have recovered from injuries to start for Liverpool away at Newcastle United this afternoon.

The duo will operate in the wing-back role, while Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez continue their striking partnership.

Meanwhile, hosts Newcastle United have to make do without captain Fabricio Coloccini, who has been replaced by fellow centre-back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

There is also no place for Papiss Cisse, which in turn will mean that Loic Remy is to start as a lone centre-forward.

Newcastle: Krul; Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Williamson, Santon; Cabaye, Tiote, Sissoko; Gouffran, Ben Arfa, Remy

Liverpool: Mignolet; Johnson, Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel, Sakho; Henderson, Gerrard, Moses; Suarez, Sturridge
