Jeffrey Schlupp: 'We know what's at stake'

Jeffrey Schlupp says that the Leicester City players know what is required of them to move off the bottom of the Premier League.

Leicester City striker Jeffrey Schlupp has insisted that the players know what is required of them to climb off the bottom of the Premier League.

The Foxes prop up the table following Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road, which was their eighth game without a win.

Schlupp, who was on the scoresheet at QPR, believes that the squad is good enough to turn their fortunes around.

"We have all been in difficult spells before and it is part of the job," he told the Leicester Mercury.

"We know what we need to do to get ourselves out of this. We will work hard and hopefully turn it around.

"We knew how hard the Premier League was going to be but if you look at how we played, if this game had been last year we would have probably won."

Leicester host Liverpool on Tuesday evening.
