Koge managed to sweep past Sparta Prague in qualification to reach the group stage, but their group fixtures have not been as comfortable.

They lost 5-0 away to Hoffenheim in their group opener, before they hosted the European champions in matchday two, with Barcelona winning 2-0.

The Danish side can be proud of their efforts against the Spanish champions, with it being Barcelona's smallest margin of victory of the season so far.

Domestically, Koge's defence of their league title has been impressive, with the Danish champions yet to taste league defeat this season, and they have won 11 of their 12 league encounters to give them a seven-point lead at the top.

They prepared for Wednesday's fixture with a narrow victory over Aalborg at the weekend, with a goal from Cecilie Floe proving enough to clinch all three points.

Arsenal are looking to win their second Champions League trophy after being crowned European champions in 2007.

Their campaign got off to a rocky start with a disappointing 4-1 defeat away to Barcelona, but they responded emphatically in matchday two when they hosted Hoffenheim.

Kim Little opened the scoring, when she dispatched her spot kick and Arsenal sealed a 4-0 victory, with Tobin Heath, Vivianne Miedema and Leah Williamson all getting on the scoresheet.

In domestic competition, Arsenal have been unstoppable, clinching a place in the FA Cup final, and they have won all six league games this season.

The most recent of those victories came at the weekend, when the Gunners thumped West Ham 4-0 courtesy of a brace from Little, a goal from Beth Mead and an own goal from Grace Fisk, and Arsenal will look to continue their impressive goalscoring form on Wednesday.

Kyra Carusa will have the thankless task of leading the line for Koge, and with Arsenal expected to dominate possession, the forward may have to be patient with chances likely to be few and far between.

After starting on the bench at the weekend, the pair of Laura Pedersen and Madalyn Pokorny are likely to come into the starting lineup for Wednesday.

Miedema was only on the bench at the weekend, but the Dutch international is likely to start on Wednesday.

Having scored six goals in her last four games for club and country, Mead will head into the game in red hot form, and she will be an important component in Arsenal's front three.

Little will also pose a threat to the Koge defence with the midfielder also in fine goalscoring touch, having scored four goals in her last three appearances.

HB Koge Kvindeelite possible starting lineup:
Marckese, Faerge, Svendesen, Pedersen, Nielsen, Markvardsen; Pokorny, Sajewich, Jankovska, Floe; Carusa

Arsenal Women possible starting lineup:
Zinsberger; Maritz, Williamson, Wubben-Moy, McCabe; Little, Maanum, Nobbs; Mead, Heath, Miedema

We say: HB Koge Kvindeelite 0-3 Arsenal Women

If Arsenal can get an early goal in the contest, then it should be a comfortable victory for the Gunners, but Koge proved against Barcelona that they can compete with Europe's elite teams.
