Juventus are reportedly following the progress of Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap after his impressive six-goal start to the Premier League campaign.

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.

The 21-year-old made the high-profile switch from English champions Manchester City to Portman Road over the summer window for a fee of £15m.

Delap has impressed massively during his opening months as a top-flight forward, bagging six goals across 11 Premier League matches for the Tractor Boys.

The former Citizen found the net in his most recent match, scoring the game-winning goal during Ipswich's visit to Tottenham Hotspur on November 10.

Providing 10 goal contributions while on loan at Hull City in the Championship last season, Delap secured a Premier League contract in East Anglia.

Juventus 'following' Ipswich striker Delap

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Italian giants Juventus are interested in securing the services of Ipswich's Delap in either the January or summer transfer window.

The report claims that the performances of the towering forward at the beginning of the Premier League campaign have caught the attention of the Old Lady.

Signed from Man City for £15m in July, it is understood that Delap's valuation has increased significantly due to his displays in recent times.

As a result, a New Year swoop by Juve for the England Under-21 international appears unlikely, especially with Ipswich fighting hard to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.

Thiago Motta's troops are supposedly targeting left-back and centre-back reinforcements in January, meaning that a move for Delap could take a backseat for now.

Ipswich's EFL stars

At the 11th attempt, newly-promoted Ipswich secured their first victory of the 2024-25 league term at Tottenham, largely down to the forward play of Delap.

It was a pair of former Championship stars who did the damage for the Tractor Boys in North London, with Sammie Szmodics also breaching the net of Guglielmo Vicario.

Three points at the expense of the Lilywhites allowed Kieran McKenna's side to jump out of the relegation zone and up to 17th in the Premier League table.
