Fulham have completed the signing of former player Clint Dempsey on a two-month loan deal from MLS side Seattle Sounders.
Dempsey returns to Craven Cottage having spent more than five years at the club between 2007 and 2012, scoring 60 goals in 225 appearances for the West London outfit.
The 30-year-old, who left Fulham for Tottenham Hotspur in August 2012, enjoyed a number of memorable moments during his first spell at the club, including scoring the goal that secured their Premier League status for at least another season in May 2007.
He was also voted as their Player of the Season in 2011-12 having scored 23 goals in 46 games in all competitions - his best return for the club.
The USA skipper signed for Seattle Sounders in August of this year following a single season with Spurs and is on loan during the MLS off-season.
"Fulham Football Club is delighted to announce the two-month loan signing of Clint Dempsey from MLS side Seattle Sounders FC," the club confirmed on their official website.
Fulham currently sit 19th in the Premier League table having lost eight of their last nine matches.
