Jose Mourinho reportedly has 'no interest' in rejoining Chelsea for next season, with the 60-year-old rejecting an offer to discuss a potential return to London.

Jose Mourinho reportedly rejected the chance to return to Chelsea following the sacking of Graham Potter from the managerial hotseat last month.

The 60-year-old has just over a year left on his current deal at Serie A side Roma, with Mourinho guiding the club to Europa Conference League glory last term during the tournament's inaugural running.

The Giallorossi have struggled in the league this term - currently sitting sixth in the Serie A standings - however they have managed to reach the last four of the Europa League under the stewardship of the former Blues boss.

According to The Mirror, Mourinho has rejected an approach from Chelsea to have discussions over a potential return to Stamford Bridge for the start of next season.

The report claims that Mourinho was contacted by one of Chelsea's directors after he was added to a shortlist of candidates for the managerial vacancy, however Roma's boss is said to have 'no interest' in rejoining the West London club.

Roma travel to Monza on Wednesday night in Serie A looking to move into the top four ahead of Champions League semi-finalists Inter Milan and AC Milan.
