Alvaro Morata "working hard" for swift return

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata suggests that he could return in time for his side's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace after the international break.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has suggested that he could be fit in time for the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace later this month.

The 24-year-old was forced off after just 35 minutes of his side's 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City on Saturday having picked up a hamstring injury.

Initial reports suggested that the Spain international could be sidelined for up to six weeks, but he insists that he is "working hard" to ensure that he does not miss any club action as a result of the injury.

‪I have no time to lose! Working hard towards recovery!😁
