Craig Jones extends Bury stay

Bury midfielder Craig Jones extends his stay at the League Two club until 2016.

Bury winger Craig Jones has revealed that he has decided to extend his stay at the Quakers because of the ambition shown by the club's chairman.

Jones signed for from Welsh side TNS in 2012, and although he endured a mixed first season at Gigg Lane, he has revealed that he is excited about remaining at the club for another two-and-a-half years.

The 26-year-old told the club's official website: "The ambition of the chairman and directors has shown me where they want to take this club.

"I'm excited at the prospect of being part of the journey."

Jones had made 14 appearances for the League Two outfit this season.
