Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope has said that there will be "no problems" if Tom Heaton is eventually recalled to the starting lineup at Turf Moor.
In September, Heaton suffered a shoulder injury and since then, deputy Pope has starred for the Clarets and kept eight clean sheets in the Premier League.
Heaton is scheduled to return to the first-team fold in January, but Pope has dismissed suggestions that he has a 'rivalry' with the England international.
The 25-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "It's a competition, like you would have at every club, but we have a great goalie group. There will be no problems, I can assure you of that.
"We have worked together over a year and have a great relationship on and off the pitch. He is a friend of mine. We'll push each other to make other better, definitely."
Before Heaton's injury, Pope had made just five appearances for Burnley, all of which had come in cup competitions.
